Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down on the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

  • Job 1:20–21

People admire Job for his act. That He could act like this in the midst of trials is inseparable from his daily pursuits. Job was a person who feared God and shunned evil, so in times of trial, he was able to possess the sense of a created being, and have a heart of obedience to God, and to praise Jehovah God and shame Satan regardless of whether he would be blessed or cursed.
